Nano-plasmonics and Opto-electronic Sensing Group (NANOS)
I am a physicist and engineer driven by a fascination for harnessing light as a diagnostic tool. My research integrates applied optics, materials engineering, and bio-chemical sensing to develop fiber-integrated nano-sensor systems for healthcare, environmental monitoring, and agro-food safety.
I currently lead a DFG funded and Alexander von Humboldt Foundation–funded project on Lab-on-Fiber systems for on-site breath analysis, enabling personalized monitoring of breath volatile organic compounds for respiratory health management.
